Each team will play five matches of two-man, net best ball against each team in their division.

Points will be awarded as follows: 2 points a hole per win; 1 point a hole per tie; 0 points for a hole loss. There will be an additional point awarded at the end of the match to the team with the most match points. Should the teams tie their match then no additional points will be awarded for ties.

A total of 19 points are available for each match (18 points for tied matches).  The team with the most points after five matches will be declared the division winner.

A team may play a hole(s) with only one player.  Should a team be unable to produce a single player for a hole(s), they will receive no points.  The competing team will play their net best ball score against par.  The competing team receives 2 points for a hole win; (birdie or better), one point for a tie (par), and zero points for a loss (bogey or worse). An extra point would be awarded if the competing team scores a minimum of 10 points for the match. (See scoring section.)

Each of the five division winners, the second-place teams in each division, and two wild card teams, will advance to the Finals on Saturday afternoon. Wild card teams will consist of the top two scoring teams not to win or place second in their division.

The Finals will consist of a nine-hole, two-man, modified alternate shot event. Player A will tee off on odd holes and Player B will tee off on the even holes.  The teams will decide which player is Player A and B. Alternate shot format will be played after the tee shot on each hole.

The alternate shot final will be handicapped as follows:

- Division winners will receive 100% of their nine-hole team tournament handicap.
- Second-place teams will receive 75% of their nine-hole team tournament handicap.

- Wild card teams will receive 60% of their nine-hole team tournament handicap.

SCORING

Official scoring is via the LIVE TOURNEY mobile scoring app. Your ID is listed on your scorecard. Teams should double-check their backup scorecard against their official online scorecard to confirm scores are correct. Players have 15 minutes, after inputting the scores on their last hole, to check their scores on LIVE TOURNEY. Once the 15 minutes have passed, all scores will be locked, and you have effectively signed your scorecard and left the scoring area.

Match play points are awarded as follows:

  • 2 points for a hole win;

  • 1 point for a hole tie;

  • 0 points for a hole loss.

  • One additional point awarded to the winner of the match.

No additional points are awarded for tied matches. A maximum total of 19 points are available for each match.

Local and tournament rule interpretations are at the discretion of the golf professional(s).

REGISTRATION

All members and guests must sign in at the registration desk to receive the rules and scorecards no later than 30 minutes prior to the match.

DIVISION SHIRTS

Each player will receive a personalized shirt that represents the color of their division.  Each team member MUST wear their division shirt on the Saturday of the tournament.  If one or both team member(s) fails to wear their division shirt during the Saturday match, the team will be penalized 2 points from their total during the match. For example, if that team wins the match 11 points to 8 points, their score total would be altered by 2 points to reflect an 9-8 match score. Further, any team qualifying for the finals, but not wearing their division shirt(s) during the finals, will be accessed an additional 2 stroke penalty during the finals.
